Butterflies for God- Part 1

The Church needs to realize we have been freed from this world, from religion, the guilt of our sins, along with past, present, and future mistakes.  When the body of Christ realizes their position and authority in Christ, and how they have been freed from the system of religion;  they will come out of their cocoon as caterpillars, and become a butterfly for God.   It is time we become free in Christ!


Colossians 1: 3-6:   3 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4 because we have heard about your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all the saints— 5 the faith and love proceeding from the hope stored up for you in heaven, of which you have already heard in the word of truth, the gospel 6 that has come to you.  All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood the grace of God.   Berean


Colossians 1: 12:   giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light.  Berean

I pray that you will be grateful to God for letting you have part in what he has promised his people in the kingdom of light.  Contemporary English Standard

Colossians 1:13: He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of His beloved Son, Berean

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:  KJ

Colossians 1:14:  in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.  NKJ

Ephesians 1:13, 14:  13 And in Him, having heard and believed the word of truth—the gospel of your salvation—you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is the pledge of our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession, to the praise of His glory.  Berean

John 16:13:   However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. NKJ

Colossians 1: 21-23a:   21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, …NKJ

 Colossians 1:17-20:  17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning and firstborn from among the dead, so that in all things He may have preeminence. 19 For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through the blood of His cross.  Berean

Colossians 2: 8-10:  8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power NKJ


Colossians 2: 11, 12:   11 In Him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of your sinful nature, with the circumcision performed by Christ and not by human hands. 12 And having been buried with Him in baptism, you were raised with Him through your faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead.  Berean

Colossians 2: 15:  Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.  NKJ

He disarmed the rulers and authorities and disgraced them publicly; he triumphed over them in him.  Christian Standard

Romans 8:2:   For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.  NKJ
