Imagination – Part 2
We have discovered using our imagination is a good thing when used properly based on God’s Word. It was given to us by God; the ability to dream the desires of our heart. So we will look at how to use our imagination and how not to use it. Today we’re going to learn how to train our thoughts with pictures in our imagination to line up with God’s Word, not with our flesh, and not with how the world thinks.
Scriptures:

Romans 4: 18-21: 18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. James 4: 1-4: 1 What causes conflicts and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from the passions at war within you? 2 You crave what you do not have; you kill and covet, but are unable to obtain it. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask. 3 And when you do ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may squander it on your pleasures. 4 You adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore, whoever chooses to be a friend of the world renders himself an enemy of God. Berean Study
