Believe and Receive

Do you need a miracle today? Then believe it, confess it, and receive it.

Romans 10:10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (NKJ)

Perhaps you’re thinking you can’t do that. Yes, you can. You already did when you made Jesus Lord of your life. You believed, you confessed, and you received the greatest miracle in the universe – the reborn spirit. That is the way you received salvation and it is the same exact way you receive everything else from God. It’s all apart of the same plan, the same package, the same completed work of Christ.
You begin by believing what the Word of God says about your area of need and let that Word change your heart and mind.

Hebrews 4:2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. (NKJ)

Most people want to skip this step. They try to believe for a miracle without spending enough time in the Word to change their hearts and minds. They want to confess something with their mouth and have it instantly appear. It will never happen that way. It’s what we believe in our heart first and then say with our mouth we receive. If you don’t have enough faith yet to believe for the miracle you need, then get it.

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (NKJ)

Start filling the ears of your heart with the Word of God until faith for your miracle is born. What is your hardship, problem, or circumstance you need God to meet? What is your issue?

Matthew 9:20-22 Mark 5:25-34 Luke 8:43-48 Now a certain woman had an issue of blood for twelve years and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched the hem of His garment. For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”
But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’”But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.”
And He looked around to see her who had done this thing.  Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him telling Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer, your faith has made you well. Go in peace and be healed of your affliction.” (NKJ)

It wasn’t Jesus’ faith nor His decision to heal her. She used her faith to draw power out of Him. She acted on her faith – what she believed about Jesus from what she had heard about Him and then what she herself had said about her own issue. What are you saying about your issues? What is your confession built on? Are you spending more time talking about the problem than the solution? You have the same opportunity. God’s power is always present everywhere. Your faith will bring it into your life, body, or circumstance. How? By finding out what the Word has to say about your issue then reading that promise over and over until faith to believe it comes alive in your heart and then confess with your own mouth what you believe and then act on what was written, believed, and spoken.

Romans 10:6-11 But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down from above7 or, “ ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” (NKJ)

Reach out to Jesus through His Word. Act on what was written by believing in your heart, confessing with your mouth and receive your miracle today.
