The Battle is Not Yours

Along the way in our walk with the Lord, we come up against challenges.  We deal with sickness in our bodies, or in the bodies of our loved ones.  Sometimes it’s problems at the job; a financial crisis or relationship issues.  Sometimes it’s a family matter; children rebelling against God, or issues such as divorce.  We all deal with trials and tribulations.  Christians are not immune to troubles.  However, we deal with difficulties in life different than the world.  Our actions should reflect having victory over the issues of life; not being devastated by them.  Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us His authority to overcome the world.  As we start this New Year, we need to educate ourselves on how we are to deal with trials and tribulations in the world.  We must realize our stand or stance is as the victor; not the defeated foe.  So let’s regroup, and get our battle gear on properly, because the battle is not ours, it’s the Lord’s.

Scriptures:
