Your Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste – Part 1

Neuroscience has begun to catch up with the Bible.
Dr. Caroline Leaf; a Neuroscientist with a PhD in Communication Pathology specializing in Neuropsychology. According to Dr. Leaf 92% of ailments are due to what you think and the other 8% is due to your nutrition. Learning to control what we think is 92% of what ails us so let’s learn how to get control of our thoughts in this powerful series on mind control!

Your Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste – Part 2

Our mind constitutes our mental thoughts, will and emotions. We will see that our thoughts, will and emotions are spiritual parts of who we are. The physical brain (part of the body) is the holding place for our thoughts. Our brains take our thoughts, and process them into chemical reactions that create nerve endings that look like either good trees, or bad trees. These trees are good memories or bad ones. Neuroscience has found thoughts to be the main source of sickness.

Today we are going to further show how our thoughts literally control our attitude, which is our “state of mind.” How we think affects our spirit, soul and body. We must learn that our minds are our responsibility. We determine what we think, and what we think determines our physical and mental well-being.

Your Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste – Part 6

Today, we are going to practice, through steps, how to change our thinking. Science used to think our brains were fixed and could not change, but now they have found our brains are neuroplastic; meaning malleable, able to change with renewable characteristics. So let’s practice taking control of our thoughts, and literally change the structure of our brains.

By changing the way you think and act, you are repenting. That’s what we must do in order to think like God. Repentance = Greek “metanoeo” meta “to change” and noeo “the mind.” Change your mind, and begin to live in the mind of Christ.
